Financially, MINISO's expected domestic and offline income for 2018 was projected between 8-9 billion yuan, indicating peaked growth in China after rapid prior expansion, while first-half 2018 overseas sales reached $380 million. The company targeted 10,000 stores in 100 countries by 2022 with RMB 100 billion in annual revenue. Other reports noted 2017 revenues at $1.8 billion (up 20% from $1.5 billion in 2016), with international sales of $380 million in H1 2018, positioning it for smart retail via partnerships including prior online sales growth of 540% through JD.com. Post-round, Hillhouse added another $70.4 million in early 2020 alongside Tencent's $50 million and others, per the 2020 NYSE IPO prospectus where MINISO raised $608 million at $20 per ADS (above $16.50-$18.50 range), with shares rising post-IPO.
