Iberdrola is one of the largest utilities in the world with electric utility operations in nearly 40 countries. The company has a 57-gigawatt portfolio of hydro, wind, natural gas, and nuclear power plants. It is one of the largest owners of wind farms in the world, representing about 40% of its portfolio. Although the company has recently developed or acquired distribution and power generation assets in other geographic areas, Spain is still home to more than half of its power generation capacity. Over three-fourths of its revenue base is tied to international markets, while the company boasts nearly $3 billion in digital-related revenue.

Republic Services Group is the second-largest waste management company by revenue and provides integrated waste management services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. With 208 active landfills, 248 transfer stations, and 75 recycling centers, Republic Services has reached $16 billion in annual revenue, focusing on recycling and environmental solutions. The company reports in three segments based on the Western United States (Group 1), Eastern United States (Group 2), and Environmental Solutions across North America (Group 3). Eighty-nine percent of total revenue comes from recycling and waste, with the remaining 11% from Environmental Solutions.

LG Energy Solution is the third-largest battery maker for electric vehicles with about 11% global share in 2024, according to SNE Research. The EV battery segment is the largest revenue contributor, which accounted for more than 60% of total revenue in 2024. LGES also manufactures batteries for mobility, mobile phones, laptops, electrical devices, and energy storage systems. The company was spun off from LG Chem’s battery division in December 2020 and listed on the Korea Exchange in January 2022. Its products include running and multisport watches, cycling computers, wearables, handheld GPS units, avionics and flight decks, marine chartplotters, fish finders and automotive systems, supported by the Garmin Connect platform and subscription services. Garmin is listed on the New York Stock Exchange as GRMN and is in the S&P 500. In 2025 it generated revenue of $7.25 billion, operating income of $1.88 billion and net income of $1.66 billion, with nearly 23,000 employees in 34 countries. It earns revenue mainly from product sales to consumers and to aircraft, boat and car makers, plus subscriptions. It has made many bolt-on acquisitions, including Navionics, Firstbeat Analytics, JL Audio, MyLaps and, in 2026, TrainingPeaks and TrainHeroic.

Paccar is a leading manufacturer of medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the premium nameplates Kenworth and Peterbilt, which are primarily sold in the Americas and Australia, and DAF, which primarily services Europe and South America. The trucks segment (74% sales) goes to market through a network of 2,200 independent dealers. Paccar maintains an internal finance subsidiary that provides retail and wholesale financing for customers and dealers (6% sales). In recent years, Paccar has aggressively expanded its parts business (20% of sales), including engines, axles, and transmissions for its own truck brands as well as independent producers. The company commands 30% of the Class 8 market share in North America and 15% of the heavy-duty market share in Europe.

Hyundai Motor Company is a South Korean multinational automaker headquartered in Seoul that was founded by Chung Ju-yung on 29 December 1967. It is the core vehicle maker of Hyundai Motor Group, whose executive chair is Chung Eui-sun, and it sells cars, sport utility vehicles and commercial vehicles together with electric and hydrogen models around the world. Its latest sustainability report puts production at about 4.1 million vehicles. The company also has finance and other businesses that support the vehicle operations. It invests in mobility and sharing businesses and put more than A$8 million into the Australian car-sharing platform Car Next Door between 2018 and 2019, listing Ioniq electric vehicles on its platform.

Constellation Software is an acquirer, manager, and developer of vertical market software, or VMS, businesses globally. VMS differentiates from horizontal software in that it provides mission critical solutions within a specific industry for customers in a particular market. Constellation operates through a decentralized model in which each business operates as its own independent entity. Managers of individual businesses are incentivized to optimize their business for returns on invested capital and revenue growth. Excess cash generated by the individual businesses is repatriated to portfolio managers who focus on allocating as much capital as possible on new acquisitions. As of 2025, Constellation consisted of over 1,000 individual businesses and 64,000 employees.

Vistra Corp. is one of the largest power producers and retail energy providers in the US. It owns 44 gigawatts of generation capacity, including natural gas (27 GW), nuclear (6.5 GW), coal (8.7 GW), and solar and battery storage (1.3 GW). The Cogentrix acquisition will add 5.5 GW of gas generation. Vistra's retail electricity business serves 5 million customers in 20 states, including almost a third of all Texas electricity consumers. Vistra emerged from the Energy Future Holdings bankruptcy as a stand-alone entity in 2016.

Waste Connections is a North American waste management company focused on integrated waste collection services. The firm primarily focuses on residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial waste collection, with a secondary market focus on rural areas. With 113 landfills and 222 transfer stations as of 2024, it is the third-largest waste management company by revenue. Revenue is split among six operating segments: Western, Southern, Eastern, Central, Canada, and Midsouth.

Ford Motor Co. manufactures automobiles under its Ford and Lincoln brands. In March 2022, the company announced that it will run its combustion engine business, Ford Blue, and its BEV business, Ford Model e, as separate businesses but still all under Ford Motor. The company has over 13% market share in the United States, about 10% share in the UK, and just over 1% share in China including Taiwan and unconsolidated affiliates. Sales in the US made up about 65% of 2025 total company revenue. Ford has about 169,000 employees, including about 56,300 UAW employees, and is based in Dearborn, Michigan.

Incorporated in 1948, Honda Motor was originally a motorcycle manufacturer. Today, the firm makes automobiles, motorcycles, and power products such as boat engines, generators, and lawnmowers. Including joint ventures, Honda sold 3.7 million light vehicles and 20.6 million motorcycles in fiscal 2025, and consolidated sales were JPY 21.7 trillion. Automobiles constitute 65% of revenue and motorcycles 17%, with the rest split between power products and financial services. Honda also makes robots and private jets.

Sandvik is a manufacturer of specialized tools and mining equipment used predominantly by global mining, engineering, and automotive customers. The group is composed of three segments: mining and rock solutions, rock processing, and machining. Sandvik was founded in 1862 and listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm in 1901.

Mercedes-Benz Group is a premium automotive original equipment manufacturer, selling around 2 million passenger cars, including its Chinese joint venture, and just under 400,000 vans per year. The company's financial profile improved significantly following the spinoff of Daimler Truck in 2021. Unlike most automotive OEMs, Mercedes operates under its brand alone. In 2024, 14% of its passenger cars sold were top end (G Class, Maybach, AMG, S Class), 59% were core (C and E Class), and 27% entry (A and B Class). In volume terms, Asia and Europe are Mercedes' largest markets, each at just under 40% of 2024 vehicle sales, followed by North America at 16%.

Porsche designs, engineers, and manufactures premium cars synonymous with its racing heritage, engineering mastery, sporty design, and driving experience. Porsche is uniquely positioned in that its brand is associated with luxury, but it produces cars on a much larger scale than its superluxury peers. Porsche sold 279,000 vehicles in 2025 at an average price of EUR 130,000. Europe, North America, mainland China including Hong Kong, and the rest of the world accounted for 34%, 31%, 15%, and 20% of volume in 2025, respectively. Ninety-two percent of revenue is generated from the sale of cars and related services, with the remainder from the captive finance arm. Porsche’s equity is tightly held, with Volkswagen owning 75.4% and Porsche SE (the Porsche/Piëch family) owning 12.5%.

Volkswagen is the second-largest automotive original equipment manufacturer by vehicle sales globally, selling 9 million vehicles in 2025. In 2025 BMW produced 2,463,681 cars and 202,563 motorcycles and reported revenue of €133.5 billion, operating income of €10.2 billion, net income of €7.5 billion and 154,540 employees; in 2024 automotive sales made up about 73% of revenue and financial services about 25%. In 2023 it was the world's ninth-largest vehicle producer and sixth-largest automaker by revenue. BMW is listed in Frankfurt and belongs to the DAX index, while Stefan Quandt holds 27.7% and Susanne Klatten 22.5% of the shares. Milan Nedeljković chairs the management board.

It also has a large share, just below 20%, of the European truck market with its Mercedes-Benz brand offering. Its segments of Trucks North America, Trucks Mercedes-Benz, Trucks Asia, and Daimler Buses contribute 41%, 33%, 11% and 9% to revenue, respectively; however, Trucks North America contributes disproportionately (64%) to EBIT. An in-house financial services arm supports these businesses. Daimler spun out of Mercedes-Benz in December 2021.

Doosan Enerbility Co Ltd is engaged in providing integrated energy and industrial solutions, offering equipment and services across power generation, desalination, and related infrastructure. The company operates three reportable segments: the Doosan Bobcat segment, which manufactures and sells compact construction equipment, portable power products, and material-handling machines; the Doosan Energy segment, which focuses on power generation facilities, desalination plants, casting and forging, and construction services; and the Doosan Fuel Cell segment, which supplies fuel-cell systems for power generation along with long-term maintenance services. Established in 2002, the company originated from the Weifang diesel engine business. Its powertrain operations supply engines and related components, including transmissions and axles, for vehicles and industrial applications. Other group businesses manufacture commercial vehicles and agricultural machinery. Gulf Development Public Company Limited, trading as GULF and formerly Gulf Energy Development, is a Bangkok-based Thai energy and infrastructure holding company founded on 19 August 2011 by Sarath Ratanavadi, bringing together the power generation businesses of Gulf Electric and Gulf Holdings. It has been listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand since a 2017 IPO that raised about THB 24 billion. The company merged with its subsidiary Intouch Holdings with effect from 1 April 2025, took the name Gulf Development, and now directly holds about 40% of Advanced Info Service and 40% of Thaicom. For 2025 it reported core profit of THB 28.8 billion, up 33.4%, and net profit of THB 86.6 billion including a one-off merger gain of THB 56.1 billion. It plans about THB 100 billion of investment over five years, 60-70% of it in clean energy.

Vestas is a leading manufacturer of wind turbines with the highest installed capacity under service in the world. The firm operates two business segments: power solutions and services. The power solutions segment designs, manufactures, and installs onshore and offshore wind turbines. The services segment performs operating and maintenance service work on wind turbines.

Danish company Orsted was named Dong Energy until the sale of all its oil and gas fields to Ineos in 2017, soon after the May 2016 initial public offering. Orsted is now focused on renewable assets, especially offshore wind farms. It operated 9.9 gigawatts of offshore wind farms at the end of 2024. The United Kingdom is the biggest country of operation, ahead of Germany and Denmark. The group intends to develop its footprint outside Europe with projects in Taiwan and in the US. Orsted also operates 4.8 GW of onshore wind and solar assets concentrated in the United States. The company is involved in more traditional utilities business like conventional power plants and gas supply, but these activities are noncore.

Veralto is a diversified industrial firm organized into two segments.
