Ratio Petroleum Energy Overview

About Ratio Petroleum Energy

Ratio Petroleum Energy is an Israeli publicly traded energy partnership established in 2011. It was formed to pursue oil and gas exploration, development and production opportunities outside Israel. The partnership targets underexplored offshore basins where geological work may identify material hydrocarbon resources. Its interests currently span the Guyana-Suriname Basin, Morocco's Dakhla Atlantique area and the East Palawan Basin in the Philippines. Ratio has conducted seismic and drilling programs with international operating and financial partners and reported an oil discovery at the Tanager-1 well in Guyana. The partnership can acquire, farm down and operate exploration interests as projects advance. Its participation units began trading publicly in Israel in 2017. Commercial returns depend on discoveries, asset transactions and eventual production rather than a consumer-facing product or service.
