Built Cybernetics Overview

About Built Cybernetics

Built Cybernetics is a London-quoted smart buildings and architecture group listed on the AIM market. The group operates two divisions: a smart buildings business made up of software-led technology companies that improve the performance, energy efficiency and user experience of built environment assets, and an architecture practice that dates to the 1970s and was formerly known as Aukett Swanke. The company changed its name in 2025 to reflect its focus on proptech. It earns revenue from architecture project fees and from software and services sold to owners and operators of buildings, and its strategy is to cross-sell smart buildings services alongside architecture work to build recurring revenues. It is led by chief executive Nick Clark, who founded Torpedo Factory Group, acquired by the company in 2023.
