As part of the transaction, LeBron James, Maverick Carter, and Paul Wachter exchanged their prior interest in Liverpool Football Club to join FSG’s ownership group alongside RedBird. The investment supports an ongoing strategic alliance focused on growth opportunities, including new businesses, strategic acquisitions in sports teams, venues, media, and related areas. Bank of America advised FSG, and Goldman Sachs advised RedBird. This partnership enhances FSG's platform for organic growth and expansion, building on RedBird's model of developing high-growth companies with long-term capital.
