Steel Funding Rounds

DateStageInvestorsRaisedValuationRev. MultipleDeal Summary
Nov-25Strategic investmentElica$3M$10MElica completed the purchase of 28 percent of the capital of Steel, an Italian range cooker maker, on 6 November 2025, after signing a preliminary agreement on 30 July 2025. The consideration for the stake was EUR 2.5 million, half paid at signing as a deposit and half at closing. The rest of the capital stays with members of the Po family. The agreement lets Elica raise its holding to the majority level of 85 percent by October 2028, through reciprocal options on a 57 percent stake, and then buy the remaining 15 percent by the fifth year, with the historic shareholders able to stay on for up to 10 percent. The value of later steps depends on the business plan, with a floor of EUR 8.5 million and a cap of EUR 10.5 million. Elica framed the investment as part of its repositioning in cooking and as a way to strengthen its product range and reach North America.
