The company sells batteries for stationary storage for residential and commercial properties including utilities and solar panels and solar roofs for energy generation. Lam holds the top market share in etch and holds the clear second share in deposition. It is more exposed to memory chipmakers for DRAM and NAND chips. It counts as top customers the largest chipmakers in the world, including TSMC, Samsung, Intel, and Micron.

Sandisk then repackages most of its chips into SSDs for consumer electronics, external storage, or cloud storage. Founded in 1995, BYD is a leading Chinese manufacturer in the design, development, and production of new energy vehicles, or NEVs.
