The State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Luzhou City controls 46% of Luzhou Laojiao.

It sold the businesses in Brazil and Myanmar in 2017 and 2023, respectively. In 2023, the company made a tender offer to bring Fancl on as a wholly owned subsidiary.
