Last private valuation of Estrima was $10M, after raising $3M in November 2025 from Andrea Zucchelli.

Estrima Funding Rounds

DateStageInvestorsRaisedValuationRev. MultipleDeal Summary
Nov-25SecondaryAndrea Zucchelli$3M$10MOn 13 November 2025 the investor Andrea Zucchelli bought 8,333,267 ordinary shares of Estrima from its controlling shareholder Zetronic at EUR 0.30 per share, a total consideration of EUR 2.5 million. The purchase made him the largest shareholder of the listed electric minicar maker with 28.0 percent of the capital, while Zetronic, which had taken 52 percent in April 2025, was reduced to 24.3 percent. Estrima presented him as a new strategic investor with extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors, whose network of relationships and partnerships would support the development and consolidation of both Estrima and its cabin-making subsidiary Brieda. The sale followed the company's negotiated crisis settlement, which concluded in August 2025. Estrima, based in Pordenone and listed on Euronext Growth Milan since December 2021, makes the BirĂ² electric quadricycle and, through Brieda, safety cabins for agricultural and industrial vehicles. Its value of production fell to EUR 25.5 million in 2025 from EUR 31.9 million in 2024.
Apr-25Strategic investmentZetronic$3M$7MZetronic, the Padua-based mechatronics group controlled by the Fulchir family and iVision Tech, took control of the listed electric minicar maker Estrima on 15 April 2025 by subscribing a reserved capital increase of EUR 3.0 million. Estrima issued 15,476,067 new ordinary shares at EUR 0.1938 each with the option rights excluded, which gave Zetronic 52 percent of the share capital. The binding offer had been accepted by the board in February 2025 as part of a negotiated crisis settlement, after Estrima recorded an 18.6 percent fall in production value in the first half of 2024 and a net loss of EUR 959,000. On the same day shareholders converted the 9,250,000 multiple-voting B shares into ordinary shares. Zetronic said the investment would support a mechatronics hub in north-eastern Italy, combining its electronics skills with Estrima's experience in electric mobility. Estrima, listed on Euronext Growth Milan since December 2021 and based in Pordenone, makes the BirĂ² two-seat electric quadricycle and, through its subsidiary Brieda, safety cabins for agricultural and industrial vehicles.
Dec-12Undisclosed stageRed Circle Investments$1M-At the end of 2012 Red Circle Investments, the investment company of the Rosso family of Diesel founder Renzo Rosso, acquired 30 percent of the shares of Estrima. The press reported an investment of EUR 1 million, made through the family holding. Estrima had been founded in 2008 by Matteo Maestri, who spun it out of his family's cabin maker Brieda to build compact electric vehicles for cities. Vehicle production started in June 2009, and the BirĂ², a two-seat fully electric four-wheeler, was by 2010 and 2011 the most registered electric vehicle in Italy across the two-, three- and four-wheel categories. The company is based in Pordenone and later listed on Euronext Growth Milan in December 2021.
