The listing was a partial exit for funds advised by Cinven, Permira and Mid Europa Partners, which had acquired Allegro in January 2017 for USD 3.25 billion, about EUR 2.75 billion, and which retained a majority of the shares after the offering. An over-allotment option of up to about PLN 1.38 billion was granted to the banks. The offering was oversubscribed and the shares rose sharply on the first day of trading. Allegro operates an online marketplace in Poland, described by its sponsors as the leading and most recognised internet brand in the country and a global top-ten e-commerce platform. It connects third-party merchants with consumers and earns commissions, advertising revenue and subscription fees. At listing it had about 2.1 million SMART! subscribers, around 2,300 employees, and reported gross merchandise value growth of 54% for the twelve months to 30 June 2020.

WE|DO is a Czech parcel delivery operator built to serve online retailers and their customers. It was assembled from the InTime courier business and the Uloženka network of collection points, and delivers to home addresses, to more than 1,200 pick-up points and to its own parcel boxes across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Revenue comes from per-parcel delivery and handling fees charged to the e-shops that ship through it, and the company runs its own sorting hubs and delivery fleet rather than subcontracting the last mile.
Mall Group is a Central and Eastern European e-commerce group headquartered in Prague, assembled by Rockaway Capital under Jakub Havrlant starting in 2014-2016 around online retail platforms including MALL.cz and NetRetail, whose roots trace to a Czech e-shop founded in 2000, plus travel agency Invia and logistics arm WE|DO.
