Instinct is a San Francisco start-up that builds a personal AI assistant, legally operated by Spear Street Technology Inc. and founded by Noah Shinn, a former Sierra employee. The assistant takes requests by text, phone call or WhatsApp and then uses a phone and a computer much as a person would, handling email, calendars, bookings, grocery orders and other everyday tasks. Access has been invite-only since a private beta that began in February 2026, and the company has about 14 employees. It raised a seed round at a $50 million valuation, a $75 million Series A led by Kleiner Perkins at $500 million, a $250 million Series B co-led by Index Ventures and Benchmark at $2.5 billion in August 2026, and a $1 billion Series C from Sequoia Capital, Benchmark and Coatue at $10 billion in September 2026. No acquisition or investment made by the company itself is documented.

Nebius is a vertically integrated cloud provider focusing on AI and high-performance computing. It is a carve-out of the previous Russian tech firm Yandex, following the Russian sanctions since the Ukraine-Russia war. Nebius designs and operates its own data centers and servers across Europe and the US, with a total capacity of several hundred megawatts. In September 2025, Microsoft became a major Nebius client under a multiyear $17 billion revenue agreement to provide computing capacity.
