Quan Acquisition

Quan was acquired by TrueTribe for an undisclosed price on 1 July 2025.

Before the acquisition Quan had raised $4M across 2 funding rounds.

TrueTribe, a Dutch HR-tech company based in Utrecht, acquired Quan, an employee wellbeing platform founded in 2020, in July 2025. Quan is a SaaS platform that uses a scientifically validated approach to help organizations measure and manage employee wellbeing through its proprietary Wellbeing Index, serving customers including Bynder, ASML, Informa, and Fitch Group. The platform identifies and addresses drivers of stress, burnout, and absenteeism at both individual and organizational levels. Quan had raised €3 million from investors including Y Combinator, HearstLab, 4impact, Masawa, Joanna Invests, Knop Investments, and Golden Egg Check since its 2020 founding by Arosha Brouwer and Lucy Howie. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. TrueTribe, a corporate venture launched by occupational health services provider Zorg van de Zaak, integrated Quan's platform into its broader portfolio to strengthen its data-driven HR-tech offering focused on vitality, health, and development. The acquisition allows TrueTribe to provide customers with comprehensive, continuous, data-driven insights and services to improve employee wellbeing, moving beyond standalone initiatives like coaching apps or gym memberships. Both co-founders remained involved with TrueTribe following the acquisition to continue scaling the mission of making wellbeing a strategic priority in organizations.
