The platform's proprietary AI and use-case driven framework have enabled production optimizations saving clients over $10 billion and reducing carbon emissions by 2.5 million tons. Headquartered in Issoire, France, Braincube supports manufacturers in achieving Industry 4.0 goals by breaking data barriers in production chains. On November 29, 2023, Braincube raised €83 million (approximately $90.4 million) in a growth equity financing round led by Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) and Bpifrance. Clipperton acted as the sole financial advisor. This followed a 2018 €12 million Series A led by IRIS Capital and Next47. The new investment supports Braincube's global expansion and consolidation of leadership in industrial AI, with SEP highlighting the company's IP-rich product, strong growth track record, and alignment with Industry 4.0 tailwinds. Braincube's founder and CEO Laurent Laporte emphasized partnering with SEP and Bpifrance as long-term supporters for international development. SEP Partner Angus Conroy noted the impressive business, excellent customers, and market potential. Prior to this round, Braincube had bootstrapped significantly before earlier fundraisings and rejected PE offers to align with growth-focused investors like SEP.
