Coupa acquired Rossum, a Prague-founded company whose artificial-intelligence software reads and processes business documents such as invoices. The deal was announced on 12 May 2026 at Coupa's Inspire conference and the financial terms were not disclosed. Rossum was started by Tomas Gogar, Petr Baudis and Tomas Tunys, employs about 150 people, most of them in Prague, and had been a Coupa partner since 2024. Coupa said it will put Rossum's transactional language model across its spend-management platform so that more invoice and accounts-payable work runs without manual handling. Guggenheim Securities was financial adviser and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe legal adviser to Rossum, and Kirkland & Ellis advised Coupa.
