SI Solutions Acquisition

SI Solutions was acquired by Macquarie Asset Management for $600M on 10 September 2026.

Macquarie Asset Management, through a Macquarie Asset Management-led consortium that includes co-investors such as UniSuper, agreed in September 2026 to acquire a majority stake in SI Solutions, Inc. ("SI Solutions") from private equity firm MidOcean Partners. The transaction covers SI Solutions and all of its affiliate companies and values SI Solutions at around $600 million including debt. The deal structure is a majority acquisition by financial sponsors, with closing expected in Fall 2026 subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. The acquisition is intended to expand Macquarie Asset Management's capabilities in structural integrity engineering, testing and software solutions for critical infrastructure, energy and power markets. By taking over SI Solutions from MidOcean Partners, Macquarie and its co-investors gain a platform that provides technical expertise to support reliability and resiliency of U.S. power markets, safety and regulatory compliance for critical assets, and the expansion of public and private infrastructure in the U.S. and internationally. The deal builds on MidOcean's business services portfolio exit strategy and is part of Macquarie's broader push into infrastructure-related services. SI Solutions is a leading provider of engineering, testing, inspection, compliance and maintenance services, digital solutions and expert consulting for power and other critical infrastructure end markets. Headquartered in Huntersville, North Carolina, the company operates from 16 locations across the United States, including five testing laboratories, and serves more than 330 clients across critical infrastructure sectors. SI Solutions' group includes affiliate entities such as Structural Integrity Associates and related specialist units, giving it an operational footprint that spans high-end structural integrity analysis, field services and software tools for infrastructure owners and operators.
